While travelling through America, I pulled into the iconic Roy’s Café on Route 66. One of those places that feels frozen in time and a bucket list location for me. As I parked up, I spotted this rider already gearing up to leave. Something about the setup, the bike and being in such an iconic spot that has lived on my Pinterest boards since before I can remember was such an awesome moment.
We got talking for a couple of minutes, swapped stories, and before he set off, I asked if I could grab a couple of shots. He was more than happy.
That’s what I love about bikes. Doesn’t matter where you’re from, throw two riders together and you’ve instantly got common ground. A shared respect. A nod. Maybe a photo that sticks with you forever.
Thanks to @Jreadyrollin for the chat and opportunity to take one of my favourite pictures I've taken to date.
